Hello!
The journey of me being a Houston editorial wedding photographer started back in 2011, when I first picked up a camera in order to document my life around the world. In 2012, I moved to Japan, and it was through that trip I became inspired of creating memories through pictures!
To me, I love capturing the candid shots, the shots that bring out the genuine you. I love combining the art of photography with the story of the people.
I’m here to join you on the journey of life - to capture all the things in between. The smiles, the laughter, and the tears. Let’s create that magic together!

Our Approach
It was thanks to traveling and living in other countries that I became interested in photography and videography.
As I traveled, I learned that moments in life pass by quickly, and therefore I wanted to try to capture those moments to hold onto forever.
Thus sparked my love for the camera! Now, I have so many photos and videos looking back on my life in various of countries and cities with people from all walks of life. I couldn't be more grateful for my life and the experiences I've had so far!
To be completely honest, we're not like all the rest.
In September 2023, we tied the knot in Oahu with only 20-30 loved ones by our side. The intimate setting allowed us to truly cherish each moment and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings. This experience taught us the value of genuine connection over grandeur, reaffirming the importance of quality over quantity in weddings.
OUR Wedding
Traveling has always been my passion as it fosters connections and imbues meaning into my life. Over the years, I've explored 12 countries and resided in Japan, Korea, Thailand, and Guatemala. Capturing moments through photography is my way of preserving cherished memories for eternity.

There's nothing I cherish more than the friendships I've cultivated along my life's journey. These remarkable individuals have enriched my experiences in countless ways. For me, the essence of life lies in the bonds of family, friendship, and love.
FRIENDSHIPS
From our initial call with Daycia, we loved her upbeat & positive personality! We had an engagement session that was included in our package and were so happy with the shots and edits! Neither my husband or I particularly love being in front of the camera and she was so incredible at disarming us to feel comfortable and getting some really beautiful, natural pictures that captured our true essence. The day of the wedding was incredibly hectic and a little chaotic due to being behind schedule and some trouble with other vendors. I cannot stress how much Daycia’s energy brought a sense of calm to the entire day. She went far above the call of duty and stepped up to help when she didn’t need to. She was so incredible at taking our input while also giving great direction to us and our family.
